Home Interior Exterior Location Travel Things to do Prices Contact us Welcome to The Oaks, Bergerac A three bedroom holiday house (two bedrooms in the main house and a one bedroom apartment) with swimming pool in Lembras, near Bergerac, in the Aquitaine region of South West France. The property is located on a private estate in the wooded hills above the small village of Lembras, 3km from the quaint market town of Bergerac. The house is sited on about one acre of land and is well secluded by mature oak trees and hedging. There is lots to do in and around the area, from a relaxing meal to parachuting! A ten minute walk from the house (and fifteen back) will find you in the village of Lembras where there is a Boulangerie supplying fresh bread, croissants and cakes, a small shop selling other regional food and a small bar/restaurant where you can be sure of a warm welcome, a reasonably priced meal and a good bottle of local wine, just great for that summer evening saunter. A two minute drive will get you to another small village, Pombonne, where you will find some small shops so there will be little need to drive into the main town of Bergerac. As you are no doubt aware, due to the many television programs on "relocating to France" there are many British in residence nearby so help, if required, will not be to far away.
